August 2019: I’m excited to be appearing in Conor McPherson’s The Birds, a loose adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s classic short story — which was also adapted into one of Alfred Hitchcock’s most famous films. In the play massive flocks of birds have been attacking and destroying the world as we know it. “Two strangers take refuge in an isolated, abandoned house by the sea. They form a bond in an attempt to survive under these new circumstances. But with no outside communication and a scarcity of food, the tension is palpable and hope wanes. The arrival of a mysterious young woman ruffles feathers in the house and threatens to destroy their imagined sanctuary….” Directed by Jacquie Allen.
